Workers' compensation, also known as "Workman's/Worker's Comp", is insurance that provides financial benefits and medical care to employees who injure themselves or retract an illness while on the jobsite. Coverage of Worker's Comp. may vary depending on the case or which state you are in.
Specific information may be needed from your end via a case worker and doctor's office before officially beginning with our clinic, but we are more than happy to talk with you in regard to our PT services, questions you may have, and how to best move forward with all of this.
Since Worker's Comp. is to help protect to business and employees from financial losses and etc., coverages can be anything from doctor's appointments, PT rehabilitation, or other medical services, and etc.

It is very important to tell your employer immediately if you have been hurt on the job. Your employer will need to fill out the proper paperwork for Worker's Comp. Once the paperwork has been received, it will be processed and if excepted, you should receive a case number and case manager. Also, you will need to see a doctor to help evaluate your injury, submit a report to Worker's Comp and prescribe physical therapy.
It will fall on YOU to complete the following steps before we can officially begin working with you:
✔️ Reach out to your Employer immediate after an injury at work
✔️ See a doctor ASAP after your injury so you can be evaluated, and a report can be submitted
✔️ Make sure your Employer has sent Worker's Comp the proper paperwork
Is the "Onset Date" important?
Yes. It is critical for your claim to properly be submitted that you know the exact day you got injured and even more so to continue to give that proper date as other medical providers ask for it.
When should I file for Worker's Comp?
The short answer is, immediately following your work-related injury, otherwise you are risking disqualifying for all benefits.
If you think you waited too long before claiming your Worker's Comp but are still in need of Physical Therapy, call our office anyways so we can discuss a plan with you!
Will I need a doctor's referral before attending your clinic?
Yes. Before we will be able to see you in our clinic for your work-related injury, we will need a doctor's referral.
How long will Worker's Comp cover my PT?
This varies and depends on your injury. Remember the main goal is to have you recover fully from your injury 1st.
How do I find my case number?
Your case number can be found via your employer or by reaching out to your companies Worker's Comp provider. Typically Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (WYWC), or Idaho State Insurance Fund (ISIF).
If your claim gets denied for any reason, you are still welcome to visit our clinic as an Out-of-Pocket patient, or we can try to run your personal insurance to check for benefits that way.
